The Origin
From Community Trust to a Higher Health Standard
Ted McGill spent 15 years in the trenches of real-world health optimisation — not behind a desk writing protocols, but actually applying them. He is the founder of Australia's largest human optimisation medical clinic community, built from a single idea into a trusted movement of more than 200,000 people seeking clearer answers, better standards, and practical education beyond generic health advice.
The community grew because Ted operated differently. He didn't deal in hype. He didn't sell hope. He tested rigorously, sourced data obsessively, and shared only what the evidence — and his own experience — supported.
After creating SEVYN, Ted knew that building something truly world-class required more than one perspective. He believed that Adam Clayton and Sam Mowers — two of the most credentialled and experienced coaches he had encountered across his career — were an integral part of what SEVYN needed to be. Both have been brought on not simply as coaches, but as co-founders: equal partners in the vision, the standards, and the mission of this platform.
Why SEVYN Exists
The Question the Community Always Asked
After years of running group programmes and publishing research, a single question came up again and again from members: “Can I just work with you directly?”
SEVYN is Ted's answer. It is not a templated course, a generic health programme, or another content library. It is a premium human optimisation platform built to translate education, assessment, community, and guided implementation into a standard members can be proud to live by.
The goal is not more information for its own sake. The goal is better decisions, better sequencing, and a clearer pathway from insight into action — supported by people who understand the full system.
The Approach
Science-Backed. Individually Applied.
Ted's approach spans every domain that meaningfully moves the needle: nutrition, exercise programming, peptide therapy, supplementation, sleep architecture, stress management, wearable data interpretation, recovery technology, and implementation systems.
What differentiates SEVYN is not the breadth of tools — it's the sequencing. Ted understands that the right intervention at the wrong time, or in the wrong context, can be actively harmful. Every recommendation follows a foundation-first principle: address the fundamentals before layering advanced interventions.

Adam Clayton
Adam Clayton has been shaping bodies and minds since 2012 — first as a director, personal trainer, and class instructor at Manly Beach Health Club, the Northern Beaches' premier training facility, and before that as a tennis coach at the Hong Kong Jockey Club. His foundation, however, was built in the United States, where he completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Central Oklahoma on a full tennis scholarship, before staying on as Assistant Coach of the college team.
What sets Adam apart is not just the breadth of his credentials — it is the way he applies them. Strength and conditioning, performance nutrition, kettlebell mechanics, and peptide integration are not separate disciplines in Adam's practice. They are a single, unified system, calibrated to the individual standing in front of him.
At SEVYN, Adam brings that same precision to every member he works with — whether they are rebuilding from injury, chasing a performance ceiling, or simply trying to feel the way they know they should. His coaching is direct, evidence-based, and built around one principle: sustainable results come from intelligent programming, not harder effort.

Co-Founder & Exercise Physiologist
Sam Mowers
Sam Mowers is one of Australia's most credentialled and experienced health and performance coaches — a distinction earned not through accumulation of certificates, but through decades of applying them at the highest levels. A former elite rower who represented Australia at the 1995 World Junior Championships, NSW rugby captain, and competitive boxer, Sam's understanding of the human body was forged in the arena before it was refined in the laboratory.
Armed with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Exercise from the University of Sydney, a Diploma of Nutrition from Nature Care College, and a postgraduate diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee, Sam has spent over 25 years translating that knowledge into transformative outcomes for clients ranging from corporate executives to elite athletes. He has presented for Men's Health Magazine, Channel 10, Optus, Commonwealth Bank, NSW Health, and Qantas — and has lectured in health and fitness at TAFE NSW.
As co-founder of Manly Beach Health Club and an experienced exercise physiologist across high-performance and health-optimisation environments, Sam brings to SEVYN a rare combination: the rigour of applied science, the instincts of an elite competitor, and the communication ability of someone who has spent a career making complex health concepts accessible and actionable. His approach is whole-person, evidence-led, and uncompromising in its standards.
